What is the cost to advertise? Answer.

The cost to advertise a single career ad (job, internship, degree program) is $300.  View our Rate Card for current multi ad purchase rates. Display advertising rates vary.  Please contact sales for detials.

What are the payment options?

Answer.

We accept: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Checks & Purchase orders



Question 3.

Is there a particular format required or text limits to be aware of?

Answer.

No, we strive to make the process as painless as possible by giving customers as much flexibility to format and include all necessary details in their advertisements.  We encourage customers to include more, rather than less to give potential candidates as complete an understanding of the opportunity before they choose to proceed.  Thus increasing the quality of the applicants.



Question 4.

What are some examples of how advertising is targeted?

Answer.

For Career Advertising Parameters

  • Education: BA/BS, MA/MS, PhD/EdD.
  • Experience in years: 0-1, 3-5, 10+
  • Focus / areas of expertise: health education, wellness, nutrition etc.
  • Work Setting: worksite, higher ed etc...
  • Location, where the work takes place:

For Display Ads, the Parameters are the same, the targeting strategy may be different.

  • A textbook publishers' audience is higher education faculty teaching in a specific topic area.  Location is unimportant.
  • A continuing education provider may choose to target an audience within a discipline and/or region. Education and experience may not matter.
  • A company who offers products & services focused on worksite health promotion may want to target people in worksites with 5+ years of experience but not concern themselves with the areas of expertise.

What happens to ads once they have been submitted online?

Answer.
  • Ads are immediately emailed directly to registered candidates based on the requirements of the ad and the qualifications & preferences of the registered users.
  • Ads are instantly live on our website & throughout our partner network
  • Ads are automatically distributed via popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and so forth
  • We have several weekly news publications where ads are automatically included as well.




Question 6.

Candidate/User: What is the cost to register?

Answer.

There is no cost for any of the career services we provide.



Question 7.

Candidate/User: Do I submit my resume for employers to review?

Answer.

No, candidates complete a profile only.  The preferences & qualifications selected determine which ads they receive real-time via email.  It's up to candidate to apply for opportunities.  A resume should directly reflect the specific requirements of the opportunity point by point.  Thus making a generic "one size fits all" resume unnecessary and ensuring all candidate data is kept confidential.



Question 8.

Candidate/User: Is it okay to register with HPCareer.Net through mulitple network partners?

Answer.

Yes, depending on the preferences you choose and the specialized focus of our partners.  It's fine to register with mulitple partnering organizations within our network. 



Question 9.

Candidate/User: Will the career opportunities I receive be the same with different HPCareer.Net partners?

Answer.

Yes & No. Each partnering organization chooses their own preferences for career ads based on the specific demographic they serve.  These top level preferences determine what their career service includes making some opportunities the same and some different or specific to the network partner.
